The restaurant is tucked away at the end of the road honestly you wonder if you're headed in the right direction. But once you arrive there's plenty of parking. It's a very large open restaurant with beautiful views. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and what a great pick!! The server was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. We asked what's her favorite and what's the most popular she shared with us the popular dishes of course most were seafood. I'm allergic to all seafood. I had my heart set on the Prime filet Mignon, it was a little under cooked for my liking, but I did not want to send it back. The bordelaise was so good I had to refrain from licking the plate, the seasonal vegetable was carrots they were good they were a little hard still very tasty, the smashed potatoes with the bordelaise was so good I could of ordered another side of the potatoes!! My two friends each enjoyed their meals!! They each wrote a review! I have also tagged them so you can find their review. (Leah and China) I skipped dessert nothing really jumped out at me. Not to mention I had another event to go to and I knew I was going to indulge in some food or drinks there. All in all the restaurant, the service, the food, the views were AMAZING!! I will definitely be coming back soon!!

The Porch on Long Creek has been on my list of places to try for years so I was excited when my friend decided to have her birthday dinner here. I must say, driving up to the restaurant was a bit confusing. I was hoping I was headed in the right direction and thankfully, I was lol. We met around 4pm on Saturday, and there was no wait at all. We sat in an area where we could see the water and the views were amazing! The decor of the restaurant was beautiful as well! After looking over the Drink Menu, I decided on the Porch Paloma which was strong and very refreshing. We then ordered a few appetizers and chose the Virginia Baked Oysters, Cajun Fried Oysters, and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Everything was great but the Cajun Fried Oysters were my favorite. My friends ordered their entrees and as we waited, I noticed a drink at another table that looked appetizing so I asked our server about it and she said it was the Hot As A Cucumber Martini and immediately ordered it. It consisted of jalapeño tequila, cucumber juice, lime and agave and was one of the best drinks I've ever had. The food was served fairly quickly and my friend's Prime Filet Mignon was tender, flavorful and delicious. It was a tad bit undercooked to her liking but it was great nonetheless. My other friend mentioned her Porch Cheeseburger was pretty good as well. Overall, we had a great experience and our server, McKenna was awesome! I most definitely will be returning and I can't wait to dine outside on the water in the warmer months.

My friends and I went to The Porch on Longcreek for my birthday. We decided to do an early dinner, and I'm glad we did. When we got there, there were lots of available tables. So we sat in the back so we could see the water. They weren't taking reservations at that time. But everything worked out when we arrived. The GPS is kind of confusing so I got lost a few times. But it's located in the very back at the Lynnhaven Inlet Shoppes. You'll see the boats, and that's how you'll know you're in the right area. The restaurant is very beautiful inside, with tall ceilings, it's on the water, so the view is awesome, and it's a whole vibe inside. When it got dark outside the lights on the tables came on, it was dimly lit and it was a whole different romantic cozy ambiance!! The table we got was a booth and it was spacious. Our server McKenna was really nice. She conversed with us and was very informative about the menu and even gave recommendations. She made the dinner go very smoothly and she kept our drinks refilled. I appreciated the menu because it's not overwhelming with too many options. They have sushi, burgers, flatbreads, and etc. I ordered the Cajun fried oysters with pickles, the porch burger with risotto, and keylime pie. My friends got the baked oysters, brussel sprouts, and the filet with mashed potatoes and carrots. We all sampled each other's food. So I was glad we all got different things. The Cajun oysters were delicious, and fried perfectly. It was a decent portion. The baked oysters were creamy and very good. It comes with half a dozen and they have bacon, cheese, and cornbread crumbles. I enjoyed the brussel sprouts and risotto also. The risotto was cheesy and creamy and the brussel sprouts had a yummy sauce on them. The filet was tender and flavorful. The presentation was nice. It was undercooked slightly as my friend asked for medium well, but it was more medium. She told the waitress and she was very understanding and gave her a discount. Which was nice. They also ordered cocktails which they said were good. My keylime pie had a good amount of crust, and was tasty also. All in all it was a really good experience!! I feel if it was more busy when we went, it may have been a different experience. But I enjoyed myself and my friends did to. There's seating on the patio once it warms up as well. I definitely recommend checking them out!!

Inside of the restaurant is a beautiful. Definitely little bit more upscale vibez right by the water. Service was quick and our server was wonderful. Appetizers and majority of our food was excellent. Only complaint our table had about the food was that the fillet was on the saltier side, besides that it was cooked perfectly. Sushi rolls tasted good but the aesthetics weren't there, but this isn't a real sushi place, however the quality of the fish was good. Id definitely come back here and it definitely is a great place for a date night.

So glad we found The Porch on Long Creek! The setting--on the water just as the name suggests--is fantastic! The sort of place that the setting alone makes a visit worth it. But on top of that, the service is *very* good, and the food is excellent. We started with fresh, nicely chilled and complete with "oyster liquor," oysters yummy. Our entrees and desert were equally good as well. My only regret was that we asked to be seated inside (out of fear the temperatures would drop quickly after the sun went down -- they didn't). Not sure we'll ever make it back to Virginia Beach but if we do we'll definitely stop in again!

The restaurant is nice and elegant with a water view. The service was a little slow. This place has changed since the pandemic in terms of quality of service and food. The she crab soup was good with small amounts of crab meat sprinkled in. The oysters with lobster were extremely dry, rubbery, and overcooked. I had to send them back. The flatbread was good but slightly dry.

Really enjoyed everything about this place. The view, food, drinks and service were all amazing. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a great view with a relaxing vibe environment then come to this place. Outside seating has a good view of the water and the sunset if you go at the right time. They also play great music. Shrimp scampi was amazing. Tiramisu was great as well. One of my favorite desserts and if I ever come back will get it again.

I loved everything about this place , the aesthetics, the views , the food and service. This is a great spot for families , couples and large groups. My group of 6 shared the sushi boat (so fresh and amazing ), I had the founder (the seasoning and sauce it was in was finger licking good ), I had the lobster bisque ( flavorful and amazing ) . Lastly we had key lime pie for dessert and it was so good. I was on vacation when I visited but I wish I had this place closer so I could go again sooner. I'll visit next time I'm in Virginia Beach.

Very nice establishment right on the water. Loved watching the people on the boats last they pulled up to the restaurant and sailed down the ocean. Love the concept as it felt like we were all colleagues and peers enjoying a nice warm spring and sunny day. If anything I'd gripe about is that happy hour isn't long enough Enjoyed their crab dip and shrimp tempura rolls. Will be back in the near future.
